Progress!

The past few weeks have marked some major progress for XCPRC.

Last Wednesday, we had our new water bottle fillers installed — a big step forward in our mission to cut down on single-use plastics. In less than four days, the fillers helped save 88 plastic bottles from ending up in the trash. At this pace, we’re on track to prevent nearly 100 bottles a week from going to waste. Multiply that over the course of a year, and the impact becomes clear: small changes really do add up.

Just two days after the filler was installed, our new recycling bins arrived. With both pieces now in place, we’re starting to see our goals take physical shape around campus.

At this Wednesday’s XCPRC meeting, we’ll go over how the bins will be assembled and what our next steps will look like. These developments might seem small on their own, but together they’re part of a much bigger shift — one we’re excited to keep building.

More updates soon! Let’s keep moving forward. Change starts with you! (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)⋆˚. ݁₊ ⊹ 。⋆ ♻️
